Roof fan type FDv for transporting corrosive and explosive gases, vapours and mists with a dust content of < 5mg/m³ and a maximum temperature of 40 °C. Ambient temperature max. 40°C.
Housing of PPs, in injected design with integrated maintenance-free sealing system consisting of condensate protection as circumferential drip edge and a labyrinth seal. For the Ex design, additionally with grease barrier, refillable from the outside, and lip seal VDMA 24 169 and RL/94/9/EC (ATEX) compliant. Condensate drain socket at the lowest housing point.
Pressure side with welded grille.
High performance impeller with backward curved blades of PPs, in injected design with back vanes for guaranteed negative pressure at the shaft lead-through in operation.
Direct drive via IC-34 standard motor, gas tight enclosure towards exhaust, with temperature-resistant attachment parts at housing and impeller to avoid deformations of the mounting position also in case of failure. Motor cooling air conducted by separate inlet and outlet chambers for cooling air and avoidance of uncontrolled circulation.
A lockable maintenance switch with auxiliary contact is attached and hard-wired to the roof fan. The maintenance switch is not Ex protected. A terminal box is attached and hard-wired for the version with Ex protected motor.
The roof fan type FDvF (flat) differs from type FDv through its flat blow technology.
A specially formed plastic blow outlet or grille of plastic (IP20, ATEX compliant) guarantees a constant vertical downstream flow.
The FDvF roof fan has a low installation height, which makes it a very economical variation.

Housing in sturdy, rotation sintered design of PPs/PP-FR, single inlet, for horizontal or vertical installation.
Impeller of PPs/PP-FR, in injected design, cantilever supported on the motor shaft, statically and dynamically balanced, balance quality at least Q 6.3 (VDI 2056 Masch. Gr. M).
Includes interior three-phase motor, encapsulated against pumping medium and outside mounted maintenance switch for serial motors (without Ex protection), or outside attached terminal box for Ex motors.
Pipe connections conducted to the outside ensure the necessary forced ventilation for the motor.
