Our data protection practice conforms to the legal provisions of the German Federal Data Protection Act (Bundesdatenschutzgesetz BDSG) and the Telemedia Act (Telemediengesetz TMG). We will collect, process and store your personal data exclusively for the purpose of processing your inquiry and, if applicable, fulfilling your order/contract. If you declare your consent in advance, your data can be used for other purposes described in detail in the consent form, for example to send you our newsletter with information on special sales promotions etc.

Pseudonymised usage data are not connected with the data of the person behind the pseudonym. No usage profiles are compiled on pseudonyms.

4 Credit check/scoring

If we provide advance performance, we reserve the right to obtain a credit check based on mathematical and statistical methods through the following company/companies:

  • Creditreform Bonn Domschke & Rossen KG, Graurheindorfer Str. 92, D-53117 Bonn (www.creditreform-bonn.de)

For this purpose, we provide the personal data needed to conduct the credit check and use the information we receive on the statistical likelihood of payment default. The credit check can include probability values (scores), which are calculated based on scientifically recognised mathematical and statistical processes. The calculation draws on a variety of characteristics such as income, address data, profession, marital status and previous credit record to predict the future risk of the customer defaulting on payments. The result is expressed as a score. The information we obtain in this way is used as the basis for our decision to establish, execute or terminate a contractual relationship.

However, your option to choose one of the offered payment modalities does not depend on such information.

5 Data transfer/specified purpose

We only transfer your personal date to third parties if this is necessary for fulfilling our contractual duties, in particular with regard to executing an established contract. We do not transfer your personal data to third parties for any purpose other than the stated contractual purpose and payment processing.

If you provide us with personal data as part of your expressed consent, those data are used exclusively for the purpose stated in the consent form and to which you have agreed. We will store your personal data only for as long as necessary or legally required for the intended purpose of collecting the data. You can revoke your consent at any time.

Your protected interests are taken into consideration according to legal regulations. You can obtain information on your personal data stored by our company from the responsible entity.
